Careers
As a matter of both tradition and policy, we value the hard work and loyalty of all Garratt-Callahan employees. We appreciate that it is our people who sustain our company and account for its success.
In hiring, we seek similarly committed employees, and our compensation plan is designed accordingly. Benefits include a 401k plan as well as health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance.
We offer employees stability, an honest and ethical work environment, a competitive wage, and for sales people– unlimited commission potential.
We are always on the lookout for exceptional candidates with experience in water treatment sales and service and a strong background in the sciences or engineering. In addition, we occasionally have openings in technical, administrative, and support positions.
Garratt-Callahan is committed to making our website usable by all people, regardless of ability. If you have a disability, and need assistance during the application and selection process as a result, please contact the Garratt-Callahan Human Resources department at 650.697.5811, or by email at [email protected]. Arrangements can be made to provide an accommodation in order to assist you in applying for an open position using our on-line system, completing any other related paperwork, interviewing, or any other portion of the employment process. When requesting an accommodation, please provide your name, phone, email address, or any other means of contacting you. Provide a brief description of the nature of the requested accommodation. A member of the Human Resources team will then contact you to discuss your request. A request for an accommodation will not affect your opportunities for employment with Garratt-Callahan.
Once you see a position of interest listed on the Garratt-Callahan Jobs site, please click on the specific position. You will then receive specific information about how to apply and what we look for.
Given the number of resumes we receive, we’re unfortunately not able to contact people individually with specific feedback. However, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your submission.
As clichéd as it sounds, timing is everything. Numerous Garratt-Callahan employees applied several times before being hired, so please don’t be discouraged. Generally, we recommend reapplying every 6 months unless there is a change in your contact information or you’re interested in applying for a different position.
Please apply directly online and, if applicable, upload your materials as specified in the job posting.
If we feel your experience and skill set are a fit but we don’t have any current openings, your resume will be archived for 2 years.
Garratt-Callahan is interested in hiring the best and brightest, and we feel fortunate to have artistic and technical folks from around the globe. Unfortunately, the requirements and process for obtaining work visas is complicated and difficult. We recommend you become familiar with the qualifications for obtaining visas (H1-B, TN, O-1, etc.), and if you meet these requirements, we welcome you to apply.

After you click Apply Now, you will be prompted to upload or copy and paste your resume. You will be able to use this resume for future applications if you wish. However, you will not be able to view your submitted resume/attachments.
