In a hot deck cooling tower, the hot water or fluid is distributed over the top of the tower through a distribution system known as a “hot deck.” As the hot water flows downward through the cooling tower, it is cooled by air passing through the tower, which carries away the heat. The cooled water is collected at the bottom of the tower and then recycled back into the system.
